i'm tevin keobouala, fashion and textile management student at NC State, concentrating in product development. started in computer science at UNC Charlotte before switching to apparel. the overlap was always there: both are just systems, and i've always been more interested in how things are built than what they look like on the surface.
on the technical side, i draft tech packs, build patterns from scratch, cut and sew samples, and work directly with industrial equipment. outside the studio, i write about music, fashion archiving, and subculture for Punch Buggy, Platform Magazine, and Reframe Magazine.
looking for product development and design ops roles after graduation. somewhere that takes the making as seriously as the concept.
